Lundaspelen in Handball is the world’s largest indoor handball tournament. The tournament takes place every year during the period between Christmas and New Year, from December 26–30.
Lundaspelen started in 1978 as a youth tournament featuring handball, ice hockey, football, and basketball. Handball and basketball quickly became the core and are now among the largest youth tournaments in Sweden and the world.
In its first year, 113 teams participated. Today, we welcome 800 teams from around the globe. Over 10,000 players gather in Lund to create handball memories that last a lifetime.
Lundaspelen welcomes all handball players aged 8–19. The tournament includes everything from mini handball and elite groups to para-handball. Regardless of skill level or background, there is a place for everyone at Lundaspelen.
Lundaspelen in handball is organized by LUGI HF, supported by nearly 1,000 dedicated volunteers.
