There are Pink Floyd tribute acts – and then there is The Australian Pink Floyd Show.
Since forming in Adelaide in 1988, they have built a reputation that few tribute productions can even come close to matching. They have sold millions of tickets worldwide, performed in more than 35 countries, appeared at David Gilmour’s 50th birthday celebration, and shared the stage with both Gilmour and Rick Wright. That says something about the level they operate at. More importantly, it says something about the trust they have earned.
On the Echoes of ’77 Tour, The Australian Pink Floyd Show turns its focus to the 50th anniversary of Animals, bringing highlights from the album together with material spanning Pink Floyd’s entire catalogue, from 1967 to 1994. The setlist also includes the fan favourite Echoes – a piece of Pink Floyd history rarely performed live, yet still regarded by many as one of the band’s most defining musical journeys.
This is not a nostalgic fast-forward through the greatest hits. It is a full-scale production built on precision, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of why this music continues to matter.
